"I have mounted over 100 productions in and around Chicago, and run theater companies most of my life. After the pandemic shut down my theater in northern Indiana, I heard that Chuck and Kurt had also lost their producing partner due to a pandemic bankruptcy. So I read the script of TEMPLE BEAUTIFUL: THE MUSICAL and listened to the songs.
Both script and songs impressed me enough to come out of retirement, and immediately begin working with the creators to tighten up the show. Together, we have added/cut scenes and added/cut songs—all the blood-on-the-floor essentials necessary to take the breakneck pace, wit and grit of the show and lift it up to where it is now both producible and memorable.
